Senior AI Engineer | NV1 Clearance Required | Canberra (ACT) | 12-Month Contract

Akkodis is partnering with the Federal Govt client to engage a Senior AI Engineer for an exciting chance to design and deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions that drive innovation, productivity, and secure digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions using Azure AI Services, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and AI Agents
- Build AI agents, RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) solutions, and intelligent workflow automation
- Develop APIs, integrations, and microservices connecting AI capabilities with enterprise systems
- Implement vector search, document intelligence, and data ingestion pipelines
- Conduct AI testing, validation, assurance, and governance activities
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and Responsible AI principles




- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and deliver high-value AI use cases

Key Skills & Experience

- Enterprise AI solution development and deployment
- RAG implementations and AI integrations
- APIs, databases, and business application integration
- AI governance, security, privacy, and assurance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience in Government or highly regulated environments

Contract Details

Location: Canberra, ACT

Duration: 12 Months + Possible Extensions

Clearance: NV1 (Negative Vetting Level 1) Required
