Optical Receptionist/Assistant - Wills Street Eyecare (Bendigo) Full-Time
Wills Street Eyecare is a respected independent optometry practice in Bendigo, providing high-quality clinical care and personalised sale of frames and lenses to the local community. We're seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive Optical Receptionist to support the day-to-day running of our busy practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent patient experiences from the moment patients walk through the door.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients in a warm and professional manner
- Manage appointments, patient enquiries, and daily reception operations
- Support the dispensing team in administrative and retail tasks
- Process payments, Medicare, and Health Fund claims accurately
- Maintain a clean and organised practice environment
Who We're Looking For
- A great communicator, who enjoys creating positive patient experiences
- Professional,
calm and capable presentation
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask
- A supportive team player with a proactive and positive attitude
- Willingness and aptitude to learn
- Confidence using Microsoft applications and learning new IT systems
- Previous experience in medical reception, healthcare administration, customer service, or a similar role highly regarded.
- Role can be expanded for those with optical dispensing experience.
