About the role
Due to continued growth, we’re seeking a qualified Pipe Welderto join our fabrication team in Toowoomba on a full-time, permanent 5/2 roster.
This is a great opportunity to join an established business delivering high-quality project and maintenance services across a range of industries.
With purpose, respect and a driven mindset, you’ll contribute by:
Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications
Perform fabrication and welding activities to required standards
Ensure all work is completed in line with quality, safety, and compliance requirements
Follow LEAN and 5S principles to maintain an efficient and organised workspace
Complete relevant documentation, permits, and reporting requirements
Collaborate effectively within a team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:
Certificate III in Boilermaking (minimum requirement)
Proven experience welding to piping and structural standards
Strong knowledge of welding techniques (GTAW, FCAW, SMAW, GMAW)
Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
Experience working within quality assurance and testing environments
Strong safety mindset with experience in permits, JSEAs and procedure
