The Opportunity

If you love being out on the open road and prefer a job where you spend most of your day behind the wheel, this is the role for you. Your main focus will be driving and executing our delivery service, ensuring our high-quality education furniture reaches customers safely and on time. When you aren't on the road, you will bring that same drive and energy into our Cranbourne West warehouse, stepping in to assist the team with hands-on furniture assembly and production. It’s the perfect mix for a professional driver who also enjoys practical, hands‑on work.

About the Role

- Driving & Delivery: Operating a truck to deliver furniture safely and efficiently to customers and schools.
- Loading Truck: Responsible for loading the truck/trucks upon arriving back at the warehouse.
- Assembly:



Assembly of school furniture (flat‑pack desks, bookcases, storage units, chairs, etc.).
- Warehouse Operations: General warehouse duties, including container unloading and stock organization.
- Onsite Installation: Onsite assembly and installation at customer locations.
- Tool Operation: Using basic hand and power tools safely.

About You

- Physically Fit: Capable of heavy lifting (must be able to lift up to 25kg regularly), comfortable with hands‑on physical work, and able to safely transport furniture up flights of stairs when required.
- Proactive: A self‑starter who is willing to take initiative and get the job done.
- Organised: Able to maintain an organised and clean workspace both in the warehouse and on the road.
- Team Player: Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working within a small, supportive team environment.
- Customer‑Focused: Friendly and professional when representing Schoolfurn at customer drop‑offs.

Qualifications & Experience

- Must have a valid MR (Medium Rigid) license, or the strong willingness and ability to obtain one promptly.
- Forklift Licence is an advantage but not essential.
- Working With Children Check (Employee) preferred. Must have the ability to obtain one; we will help organise it for the right candidate.
