About the Role

We're looking for a person experienced in reception work to step into the role of Dental Receptionist, taking over from someone who is retiring after having been with us for over 20 years. This is a rare opportunity to join a small, close-knit practice with genuine longevity ; both in our patient relationships and our team. You'll be the first point of contact for our patients and the person who keeps the day-to-day running of the practice smooth and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage patient scheduling and appointment bookings, proactively anticipating patient needs
- Greet patients and manage front-of-house operations with warmth and professionalism




- Build and maintain genuine, long-term relationships with our patients
- Oversee day-to-day administrative and practice management functions
- Support the dentist and clinical team to ensure the practice runs efficiently
- Handle patient enquiries, billing, and records with accuracy and care
- This a full time role of 38 hours ,8.30 to 5.30 Monday to Friday ,with a 3.30 finish on Wednesdays

About You

Previous experience in a medical or dental receptionist/practice management role is an advantage but not essential

A proactive approach to patient scheduling, you notice patterns and get ahead of problems before they happen

Genuine enjoyment in building relationships with patients and getting to know the local community

Ideally based in or connected to the Geelong community

Looking for a long-term role with a stable, established practice

Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional manner

Comfortable working independently in a small team workplace
