Priority Optometry is an independently owned clinic based in Keperra, committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred eye care to the local community. We operate free from corporate targets or externally imposed performance metrics, allowing our clinicians to focus on delivering excellent clinical outcomes.

We are seeking an optometrist to join our practice on a full-time or part-time basis, with working days negotiable.

Position Overview

- Comprehensive eye examinations and management of chronic ocular conditions (diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration)
- Myopia management for paediatric patients
- Frame and lens consultations
- Full-time on-site dispensing support, enabling a clear separation between clinical and retail responsibilities

Remuneration and Benefits





- $90,000–$120,000 FTE (pro rata for part-time), commensurate with experience
- Monthly performance bonus
- Negotiable working days
- Equity partnership opportunity for a candidate seeking a long-term stake in the practice, subject to mutual fit following an initial settling-in period

Candidate Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- Minimum 1–2 years’ post-graduate experience
- Demonstrated confidence in chronic disease management
- Capacity to work independently
- Solid interpersonal skills, including experience working with paediatric patients
