Our client is an established Melbourne commercial builder delivering projects across commercial, hospitality, industrial, retail and mixed-use sectors throughout Victoria. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator with proven Tier 2 commercial construction experience to lead tender submissions and help secure the next phase of the company's growth. This role would suit an estimator who enjoys taking ownership of the tender process and has a demonstrated history of winning profitable commercial projects.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Directors, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing the full estimating and tender process
- Preparing competitive D&C; and lump sum tenders
- Preparing take-offs, BOQs, cost plans and estimates
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and contract documentation
- Procuring and negotiating subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Developing tender strategies to maximise win rates
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities




- Working closely with project delivery teams and consultants

About You

To be considered, you will have:

- Minimum 5 years' experience within commercial construction estimating
- Previous experience working for Tier 2 commercial builders
- Demonstrated success winning commercial tenders
- Experience pricing projects ranging from $20M to $100M+
- Strong D&C; and lump sum tender experience
- High-level commercial and negotiation skills
- Experience using CostX, Cubit, Buildsoft, Bluebeam or similar software
- Relevant tertiary qualifications preferred
