About the role

As a Branch Manager, you will lead the success of the branch by driving business growth, building robust Member relationships and creating a high‑performing team.

This is a hands‑on leadership role balancing business development, lending growth, operational excellence and community engagement. You will establish a strong local presence, build momentum in the market and deliver sustainable commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Drive branch growth through proactive business development and local engagement

Generate, manage and convert lending opportunities across home, personal and small business lending

Strengthen Member relationships through needs‑based conversations and portfolio growth

Achieve deposit growth targets and improve portfolio performance

Build community connections and referral networks to increase visibility and opportunities

Lead day‑to‑day branch operations, ensuring strong customer service, compliance and risk management





Use performance insights to manage pipeline activity and improve outcomes

Coach, support and develop team members to build capability and performance

About you

Proven ability to drive business development and grow branch performance

Strong understanding of retail banking products, lending and customer needs

Demonstrated leadership capability with experience coaching and developing others

Strong commercial acumen with accountability for results

Confident building networks and representing the bank in the local community

Required

Experience leading a branch or similar customer‑facing team

Established local community connections

Proven track record in lending and portfolio growth

Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into action
