Full Stack PHP Developer - 12-Month Contract (Day Rate)

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain scalable backend services inPHP8
- Contribute to frontend development withKnockout.js ,React , or similar
- Write robustunit and integration tests usingPHPUnit ,Playwright , orKarate
- Participate fully in thesoftware development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Collaborate with the team usingJira andConfluence

We are seeking an experiencedFull Stack PHP Developer to join a high-performing team on a 12-month contract. This is a great opportunity to work on a mission-critical platform utilising modern technologies in a collaborative and agile environment.
You'll be working across both the backend and frontend, with the backend built inPHP8 using acustom MVP framework . On the front end, the project usesKnockout.js , but developers with solidJavaScript experience (React or similar) are encouraged to apply—as long as you're confident in a50/50 full-stack role.

- Strong PHP development experience, ideally withPHP8
- Solid JavaScript experience - preferablyKnockout.js , but React or other frameworks are also considered
- Familiarity with modern testing frameworks and practices
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies and the SDLC
- Excellent communication skills and team collaboration

Nice to Have:

- Experience withAWS cloud services
- Awareness ofsecure coding practices or platforms likeSecure Code Warrior

- Contract Length: 12 months initially with potential for extension
