Support Worker (Mental Health & Personal Care)

Safelane Healthcare is seeking an experienced and reliable Disability Support Worker (High Intensity) to join our team. This role involves providing person-centred care to a participant requiring consistent morning support, with additional evening shifts available

Locations we currently need

We’re hiring across Melbourne’s South-East, including:
Devon Meadows ,Frankston, South Eastern suburbs

You’ll ideally live locally or be ready to travel to these areas.

What you’ll be doing

- Deliver high intensity supports, including bowel care management (e.g., enemas) in line with care plans and training

- Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and hygiene





- Support with transfers and mobility (manual handling / hoist use as required)

- Promote participant dignity, independence, and wellbeing

- Follow individualised support plans and Safelane Healthcare policies

- Maintain accurate documentation and report any changes in condition

Essential requirements (must-have)

- Driver’s licence + reliable vehicle

- Experience in high intensity disability support, particularly bowel care management, enema administration

- First Aid Certificate

- Working With Children Check

- Smartphone with internet access

- Availability for flexible hours (morning and/or night shifts)

- Experience providing personal care (male or female clients)

Job Details

Job Types: Casual, Part-time
Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour + penalty rates
Benefits: Professional development assistance, travel reimbursement
Work rights: Must have Australian work authorisation
Language: English preferred
