About the Role

You’ll start as General Manager, Manufacturing & Operations- leading a broad site leadership team spanning production, technical, procurement and supply chain, with full accountability for performance, people and delivery across the business. This is a visible, floor-based leadership role, not one run from behind a desk.

From there, it grows. Following a structured review, and subject to demonstrated capability, the role expands into a broader Executive General Manager position with accountability across the entire business, including manufacturing, finance, and sales & marketing, backed by the Managing Director's direct mentorship. It's the kind of progression that could take years to reach elsewhere, if it came at all.

Key Accountabilities

- Own safety and drive a proactive,



zero-harm culture across the site
- Deliver production against plan: planning, labour utilisation, operational rhythm
- Take full ownership of operational cost performance, including labour, yield, waste, efficiency and downtime, and hit budget
- Partner with the CFO, but own the outcome
- Drive Lean, 5S and hands-on continuous improvement
- Build capability and engagement across the workforce, and develop future leaders
- Maintain QA, GMP and food safety standards, always audit-ready

About You

- Senior operations or manufacturing leader, FMCG or food preferred, with GM, Operations Director or senior site leadership experience
- Takes real ownership of a manufacturing operation, and accountability beyond the factory floor
- Thrives in a privately owned, founder-led environment
- Commercially sharp: you can read and operate within a P&L;, even without full ownership of one
- Leads from the front: visible, hands-on, engaged in the day-to-day
- A transparent, practical communicator who builds accountability without fear
- Humble enough to learn the business, confident enough to challenge it
- A genuine track record of stability and impact
