As an Electronic Security Project Estimator, you will work with clients from initial enquiry through to project delivery. The typical projects would be implementation of electronic security system including alarm system, access control, CCTV system, Intercom or related electronic security projects.

Your role includes understanding client requirements, assessing site layouts, scoping projects, preparing accurate quotes and proposals, completing plan mark-ups, and estimating hardware, labour and project costs.

You will work closely with clients throughout the project, providing regular updates and ensuring the proposed solution meets their requirements. All estimates and proposals must be thoroughly reviewed to ensure they are accurate, practical and achievable.

Details:

Quotes/ Proposals/ Estimation: Prepare accurate, professional and competitive quotes and proposals for Alarm System, Access Control, CCTV, Intercom & associated electronic security projects. Ensure all client requirements are clearly understood & captured, solutions are fit for purpose, and project scope, costs and deliverables are accurately presented to provide clients with confidence and clarity.



Study the available site and electrical plans to understand specific details, visit sites and create drawings/markups with security system mapped on the plan to ensure client understands the proposed solution

Seek Opportunities: Actively reach potential clients to promote and seek new opportunities

Hubspot update for onboarded clients: Work with marketing manager to ensure the onboarded clients are correctly updated in Hubspot CRM system

Present clear high-level proposal to internal management for review and approval

Provide key inputs for electronic security solutions for tender submissions to the Corporate Growth Manager

Work closely with internal electronics, operations and other teams to ensure all project components progress smoothly and the solutions are delivered in accordance with APS procedure and policies

Improve the estimation process to make it more streamlined and seamless

Look for project opportunities on the online platforms and follow through

Work with the builders, fire inspection team, electrical and others contractors for the projects to ensure the equipment used and project is implemented as per the required specifications

Qualification & Licences:

Relevant prior experience (min 2 years)



in the security project estimation & project management role

Relevant trade qualification in the electronic, electronics, project management or related field.

Knowledge and experience with CCTV, access control systems, fire alarm systems and solar security solutions

Understanding of Sharepoint, MS Office and use of IT software to ensure details and document are accurately maintained on the required organisation's systems

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

Understanding of WHS requirements and industry compliance standards.

Minimum 2+ relevant experience in project coordination, installation, maintenance of electronic systems (preferred)
