About the Role
This is an opportunity tojoin the teamat Perpetual Private as an Associate, working closely witha Senior Financial Adviser supporting in the delivery ofprofessional andhigh-qualityfinancial planning services toHigh-Net-Worthclients.This role is flexible with an opportunity to work where you work best.
Sitting at the centre of the advice relationship,you’llplay a critical role in supporting the delivery of tailored financial strategies to a sophisticated client base.You’llpartner across the pod to ensure seamless execution—from client engagement and strategy preparation through to implementation and ongoing service.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a high-performance, client-centric environment and enjoys combining technical capability with operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnering with stakeholders, work closely with Advisers, paraplanning and operations teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality client outcomes
- Act as a key liaison within the pod, ensuring clear communication and seamless workflow across stakeholders
- Support Advisers in client meetings, contributing to a professional and personalised experience
- Manage the lifecycle of client engagements from preparation through to implementation and follow-up
- Coordinate meetings, documentation, and action tracking to ensure nothing is missed and deadlines are met
- Support the preparation of advice including fact finds, financial modelling inputs, and strategy development
- Act as a trusted day-to-day point of contact for clients, providing clear updates and responsive service
- Maintain high attention to detail across client communications, documentation, and records
- Support the delivery and implementation of advice recommendations
- Assistin the preparation of tailored strategies, modelling, and advice documentation
- Apply knowledge of investment structures, insurance, and financial planning concepts
- Ensure advice outputs areaccurate, compliant, and aligned to client objectives
- Maintainaccurateand up-to-date client records, documentation, and reporting
- Ensure all activities adhere to internal processes, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks
- Contribute to continuous improvement of team processes and operational efficiency
- Identifyopportunities to enhance client outcomes, improve processes, and support business growth
- Contribute to team initiatives and support referral or cross-sell opportunities where appropriate
About You
We’relooking for adynamicand proactive individual who takes ownership and pride in delivering exceptional client outcomes.
You will bring:
- Experience in a client-facing Associate, paraplanning or financial services support role
- A relevant bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance or financial planning
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- High attention to detail and a structured, execution-focused approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging in client interactions
- Experience withXplan(or similar software) would be highly regarded.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team-based (pod) structure
- A proactive and commercially aware approach, with a focus on continuous improvement
- A strong senseof ownership, accountability, and commitment to risk and compliance standards
