A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join The Rex Hotel; one of our licensed entertainment venues asa Casual Night Duty Manager (graveyard shifts).
Located on Bay Street in the heart of Port Melbourne, just moments from the bay and surrounded by the area's vibrant community, The Rex Hotel is a true local icon. Known for its friendly atmosphere, and unbeatable sports coverage, The Rex is a destination for locals and visitors alike. With multiple big screens, TAB facilities, and a lively bar, we're proud to be Port Melbourne's go-to sports bar - the perfect place to catch the game and enjoy a cold beverage with good company.
As a Casual Night Duty Manager you will be responsible for the night operations of the venue. You will deliver the ultimate customer experience whilst ensuring the smooth, productive and profitable running of the gaming room and bar.
The successful applicant will be energetic, enthusiastic and will need to demonstrate:
Experience leading and supervising all venue operations during evening and overnight trading hours
Compliance with gaming and liquor licensing as well as venue policies
Exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest enquiries, complaints, and incidents.
Experience in gaming room operations
Cash handling, safe balancing, reconciliations, and end-of-shift reporting experience
Experience supervising, supporting, and motivating staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and adherence to company standards
