Senior Associate - Commercial Litigation

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Associate – Commercial Litigation to join their highly regarded disputes practice.

The Opportunity

You'll become a key member of a high-performing litigation team, acting for a diverse range of clients including private companies, ASX-listed entities, high-net-worth individuals, family businesses and entrepreneurs.

Your work will include a broad range of commercial disputes, including:

- Complex contractual disputes
- Shareholder and partnership disputes
- Corporations Act matters
- Director and fiduciary duty claims
- Insolvency and restructuring litigation
- Property and leasing disputes
- Competition and consumer matters
- Urgent injunctions and interlocutory applications
- Alternative dispute resolution, mediations and superior court litigation

You'll enjoy significant autonomy, direct client exposure and the opportunity to play an active role in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

About You





To be successful, you'll bring:

- 5–8+ years' post-admission experience in commercial litigation gained within a reputable Australian law firm
- Strong technical legal ability and commercial acumen
- Experience managing complex litigation matters from commencement through to resolution
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
- Outstanding client relationship and stakeholder management capabilities
- A collaborative approach with a genuine desire to mentor junior team members
- A current Australian practising certificate
