The Opportunity

This is more than a contract role — it’s an opportunity to lead the delivery of landmark high-rise residential projects for one of Queensland’s most respected builder/developers. The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day management of the construction site. Your responsibilities will include:

· Full life-cycle management of the project — from early works and structure through to high-end finishes and handover.

· Leading, mentoring, and managing all on-site personnel, including Leading Hands and site labour.

· Driving the construction programme to ensure delivery on time and within budget, including leading weekly and monthly programme meetings.

· Interpreting and coordinating construction plans, drawings, and specifications across all trades.





· Managing tower crane operations, site logistics, and material deliveries.

· Directing and coordinating multiple subcontractors to ensure seamless workflow across trades.

· Championing a strong safety culture through rigorous implementation of WHS/OH&S; management systems and site safety protocols.

· Proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain programme momentum and quality standards.

About You

You are a seasoned site leader who thrives on the complexity and pace of high-rise construction. You bring:

· A trade background with a proven track record of progression into senior site management.

· Extensive experience delivering high-rise apartment projects (14+ storeys) in Australia.

· A thorough understanding of structural works as well as high-end quality finishes.

· A current QLD and/or NSW Builder’s Licence (highly preferred).

· Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage large teams and multiple subcontractors.

· Proficiency with construction management software, project scheduling tools, and standard office applications.

· A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for building quality residential projects.

· Availability to commence promptly.
