About The Role

As the Senior Pharmacist, you will operationally manage the Joyce Palmer Health Service Pharmacy Department while delivering a broad range of clinical pharmacy services across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Working with a high degree of professional autonomy, you will collaborate closely with medical, nursing and allied health professionals to optimise medication management and support safe, effective and evidence-based patient care. Your role will encompass medication reconciliation, clinical review, participation in multidisciplinary ward rounds, patient counselling, medicines information, and discharge planning activities that improve continuity of care.

Beyond clinical service delivery, you will provide leadership across pharmacy operations, including procurement, distribution and quality assurance activities. You will also contribute to workforce development through mentoring and supervision of pharmacy support staff and students,



while driving quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and service performance.
