Alzahra Academy Ltd is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Arabic Teachers to join our primary education team on a part time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' language development and cultural understanding. Based in Wollert VIC 3750, this role is pivotal in delivering high-quality Arabic language instruction to primary students, fostering their communication skills, cultural awareness, and love for the Arabic language.

What you'll be doing

Planning and delivering engaging Arabic language lessons to primary-aged students, utilising a variety of teaching methods and resources

Developing curriculum-aligned lesson plans that cater to different learning levels and abilities within the classroom

Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their language development

Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and builds confidence

Incorporating cultural education into lessons to help students understand and appreciate Arabic-speaking cultures

Collaborating with colleagues to support the broader educational objectives of the academy

Maintaining detailed records of student attendance, progress and achievement

Communicating regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and language development

What we're looking for

Qualification in Teaching or relevant tertiary qualification with specialisation in Arabic language instruction

Current registration with the relevant teaching regulatory body (or eligibility to register)

Demonstrated proficiency in Arabic language (written and spoken)





Experience teaching Arabic to primary-aged students in an educational setting

Strong knowledge of primary education curricula and age-appropriate teaching methodologies

Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment

Passionate commitment to supporting student learning and development

Robust communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team

Flexibility and adaptability to part-time scheduling requirements

Preferred experience includes knowledge of Islamic education principles, experience in multicultural educational settings, and familiarity with educational technology tools.
