About the Role

This newly created position will play a critical role in managing the organisation's day-to-day ICT requirements. Working closely with our external ICT contractors, you will ensure that technology systems, infrastructure, and support services meet the operational needs of our teams across multiple locations.

The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for ICT matters, translating operational requirements into practical solutions and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison between organisational staff and external ICT contractors.

Coordinate and oversee ICT support requests, system upgrades, and maintenance activities.

Work with managers and staff to identify technology needs and improvement opportunities.

Assist in the planning and implementation of ICT projects across the organisation.

Monitor ICT service delivery and ensure contractors meet agreed service standards.

Support the development and maintenance of ICT policies, procedures, and cybersecurity practices.

Coordinate the setup and management of user accounts, devices, software, and access permissions.

Assist with troubleshooting and escalation of ICT issues.

Maintain ICT asset registers and documentation.





Contribute to ICT budgeting and planning in collaboration with the CEO and external providers.

Support compliance with relevant privacy, data security, and organisational requirements.

Regularly visit sites in Maryborough and Bendigo to engage with staff and assess operational ICT needs.

About You

You will be a strong communicator who can confidently engage with both technical specialists and non-technical staff. You enjoy solving problems, improving systems, and ensuring technology supports organisational success.

Essential Skills and Experience

Experience in an ICT coordination, systems administration, helpdesk, or similar technology-focused role.

Ability to communicate technical information in a clear and practical manner.

Experience working with external ICT providers or managed service providers.

Sound understanding of Microsoft 365, cloud-based systems, networking, cybersecurity, and business technology environments.

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.

Current driver's licence and ability to travel between Maryborough and Bendigo sites.

Experience within the disability, community services, health, or not-for-profit sector.

Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.

Experience supporting multi-site organisations.

Familiarity with compliance requirements relating to privacy and data protection.
