Are you an Unrestricted Building Surveyor ready to take the next step into a leadership role? Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Unrestricted Building Surveyor to join the business in a Director-level capacity.

This is a genuine opportunity to influence the strategic direction of a growing organisation while leading the delivery of complex commercial projects across Sydney.

The Opportunity

As a Director, you'll play a key role in both project delivery and business leadership. You'll work alongside an experienced team of certifiers while overseeing major commercial developments, mentoring staff and fostering long-term client relationships. This role offers significant autonomy, a collaborative culture and the prospect to become a key figure within an established business.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess and certify a diverse range of commercial developments.
- Provide expert advice on the Building Code of Australia (NCC), relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and issue statutory certifications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities.
- Mentor and support junior surveyors and certification staff.
- Contribute to business development, operational strategy and team leadership.




- Ensure projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining the highest professional standards.

About You To be considered, you will have:

- Unrestricted Building Surveyor accreditation in New South Wales (essential).
- Extensive experience delivering commercial building certification projects .
- Strong working knowledge of the NCC, Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, Building Code and associated legislation.
- Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
