What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Associate, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional client outcomes while helping develop the next generation of family lawyers.

You'll:

Manage a diverse practice across parenting, property and complex financial matters.

Provide clear, strategic and commercially focused family law advice.

Develop litigation and dispute resolution strategies tailored to each client's objectives.





Appear confidently in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, mediations and negotiations.

Mentor, supervise and develop junior solicitors, graduates and paralegals.

Review legal work to ensure it consistently reflects OFL's professional standards.

Work collaboratively with Counsel, experts and colleagues across our offices to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Utilise OFL's Matter Management Framework and legal technology to maximise productivity and client service.

Contribute to internal CPD, mentoring, precedents, knowledge sharing and the continued growth of the firm.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

Has at least 5 years' Australian family law experience.

Can independently manage complex parenting and property matters.

Enjoys mentoring and developing others.

Leads with professionalism, empathy and accountability.

Thinks strategically and provides practical, commercially sound advice.

Values collaboration and enjoys working as part of a high-performing team.

Wants to build a long-term career within a growing specialist family law firm.

Accredited Specialist status, or an interest in working towards accreditation, will be highly regarded.
