About the Role

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the business while leading a dedicated team to deliver outstanding customer experiences. You'll work closely with the business owners to grow sales, improve operational performance, and ensure the store remains the first choice for trade, mining, commercial and DIY customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team.
- Drive sales growth and maximise store profitability.
- Deliver exceptional customer service standards.
- Manage inventory, purchasing and stock control.
- Oversee merchandising and maintain excellent store presentation.
- Manage budgets, KPIs and financial performance.
- Build strong relationships with trade, mining and commercial customers.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Foster a positive, team-focused workplace culture.

About You

You'll be a motivated leader with:
- Previous experience managing a hardware, building supplies or retail business.




- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and achieve KPIs.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Experience with inventory management and merchandising.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A current driver's licence.

Desirable

- Hardware or building products experience.
- Knowledge of trade, mining or industrial customers.
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one).
