Guest Services Agent | Daintree, QLD

About the Role

Silky Oaks Lodge is seeking a Guest Services Agent to be a warm and knowledgeable first point of contact for guests visiting our luxury lodge set within the Daintree Rainforest. In this role, you will guide guests through every stage of their stay, from arrival to departure, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience in one of Australia’s most extraordinary natural settings.

You will manage check-in and check-out, guest correspondence, reservations and concierge services, working closely with the Food and Beverage, Housekeeping and Spa teams to anticipate guest needs and resolve requests with genuine care and attention to detail.

Shared accommodation is available for this role, making it a great option for those looking to relocate to the Daintree region.

Key responsibilities include

- Managing guest check-in and check-out with warmth and efficiency
- Handling guest correspondence, reservations and special requests
- Providing concierge services, including tours, transfers and dining recommendations
- Liaising with Food and Beverage, Housekeeping and Spa teams to coordinate guest experiences
- Resolving guest queries and concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintaining accurate records in the property management system
- Upholding the highest standards of presentation and service at the front desk
- Supporting upselling of lodge experiences and packages where relevant

About You





You are a passionate and personable hospitality professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will ideally have

- Experience in a luxury or 5-star accommodation environment
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with property management systems, such as RMS or Opera
- The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- A genuine passion for guest service and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
- Current Australian working rights
