Reporting to the Service Centre Manager, you will lead one of CHEP Australia’s largest service centres, overseeing high-volume repair, wash and retail operations delivering critical supply chain support across the region. This role plays a key leadership position onsite managing a team of 4 direct and 100+ indirect reports, ensuring production, safety, quality, cost and customer targets are consistently met while building a strong, engaged and inclusive workplace culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Creating and sustaining a safe, inclusive and high‑performing workplace
- Leading and developing frontline leaders through coaching, mentoring and support
- Overseeing day‑to‑day production across repair, wash and retail operations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste
- Planning and resourcing effectively to meet production and service targets
- Building robust relationships across the site and broader Supply Chain teams
- Championing CHEP’s values through visible, values‑led leadership

What You Bring

- Leadership experience in manufacturing,



production or industrial operations
- A genuine passion for people leadership and team development
- Proven ability to deliver safety and operational KPIs
- Confidence managing performance, safety and operational challenges
- A continuous improvement mindset with strong operational judgement
- Clear, inclusive and confident communication skills
- Formal leadership or operational qualifications (Diploma or above preferred)
- Experience managing large teams (50+ employees preferred)
- Experience in a unionised or complex workforce environment is beneficial
