About the role

We are seeking experienced & passionate Restaurant/Cellar Door staff to join our team at Vines Restaurant at Hollydene. This is a casual role (could lead to full time) based in Jerrys Plains, NSW 2330 Upper Hunter Valley. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for helping overseeing the day-to-day operations of our vibrant tourism Restaurant & Cellar Door. Ensuring exceptional customer service & a seamless dining/wining experience. (May be a couple of roles available)

What you'll be doing

- All aspects of restaurant & cellar door operations, including POS management (vend/kounta) staffing, rostering (deputy) , inventory, budgeting & financial management - supported by the administration team
- Wedding & Function management & execution
- Assist a team of talented hospitality professionals, providing coaching & development opportunities
- Assist in implementing effective marketing, social media & promotional strategies to drive customer traffic & increase revenue
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety & liquor licensing regulations
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers, vendors & the local community
- Continuously monitor & improve customer satisfaction & dining experiences
- Collaborate & assist with the Kitchen team to maintain & enhance the restaurant's reputation for excellence - this includes menu design, printing & rostering
- Weekends a must - some night work for private functions & weddings etc

What we're looking for

- Experience in a similar venue/restaurant role
- Proven track record of successfully working within a team & driving operational excellence
- Excellent customer service skills & the ability to deliver exceptional dining experiences
- Financial management & budgeting skills
- Understanding of food & beverage operations and industry regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for the hospitality,



wine & tourism industry
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- First aid beneficial but not necessary

- Current Restaurant hours 8.30am - 4 pm Wednesday to Sunday Breakfast and Lunch. Monday & Tuesday 10am-4pm (light snacks, coffee and cellar door)
- An indicative initial base salary will be an hourly rate plus superannuation based on your level of experience. This will be discussed on interview.
