Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Forklift Labourers for a busy timber mill in Fyshwick . This is an ongoing casual opportunity offering full-time hours (38 per week) with potential for long-term work for the right candidate.
About the Role
Working within a fast-paced timber production environment, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing of timber battens and assisting with general site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a forklift to move timber products safely around site
- Assisting with production line duties
- Stacking, sorting and strapping timber
- Manual handling and repetitive lifting
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Supporting yard and dispatch teams as required
To Be Successful, You Will Have
- Current Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous experience in a timber mill, manufacturing or heavy industrial environment (highly regarded)
- Solid commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- Reliable transport and strong work ethic
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
