Cessnock Smash Repairs now part of Hunter City Motor Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Spray Painter to join our busy and well-established panel repair workshop. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a supportive team in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.
About the Role
As a Spray Painter, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality paint finishes on a variety of vehicles, ensuring all work meets industry standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting (sanding, masking, priming)
- Colour match and mix paints accurately
- Apply paint finishes using spray equipment
- Carry out touch-ups and final detailing
- Maintain a clean and safe work setting
- Work efficiently to meet job deadlines and productivity targets
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an automotive spray painter
- Trade qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of paint systems and application techniques
- Good time management and organisational skills
