We are currently seeking a Project Planning & Scheduling Specialist to join the team delivering an inspirational sports and entertainment legacy across Queensland. As a Project Planning & Scheduling Specialist at AECOM, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely project delivery, and optimizing resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using industry-standard software.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates, identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Analyze schedule performance and provide insights on potential risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and present schedule reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of project plans and resource allocation strategies.
- Implement best practices in project scheduling and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the project team in understanding scheduling methodologies and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction or engineering industry.
- Proven track record of managing complex project schedules and delivering on time.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficient in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
