We are looking for a Domestic Wastewater Technician to service and maintain our clients' wastewater systems - and we're open to both experienced wastewater technicians and plumbers who want to learn the trade.
Whether you are already in wastewater or have plumbing experience and want to broaden your skills, we will support you with on-the-job training and help you gain your QLD wastewater licence.

What you'll be doing
- Servicing and maintaining domestic wastewater systems to a high standard
- Conducting routine inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs
- Troubleshooting issues and identifying future maintenance needs
- Travelling to customer sites across the Fraser Coast region
- Providing friendly, professional customer service on every visit
- Completing basic paperwork / service reports accurately
About you
You enjoy hands-on work,
solving problems and dealing with customers. You are safety-conscious, take pride in your work and can be trusted to work independently.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in wastewater servicing
or plumbing experience and an interest in learning wastewater servicing
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, "can-do" attitude
- Honest, reliable and well presented
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
Licences, tickets and checks
Required:
- Current QLD "C" class open driver's licence
- Current QLD wastewater service licence issued by the QBCC
or willingness for us to help you gain this licence after training
- Plumbing experience or wastewater serviceman's ticket (highly regarded)
- Blue Card (Working with Children)
- White Card (General Construction Induction)
- Ability to pass a police check / clean police record
- Australian working rights
Training pathway for plumbers
No wastewater experience? No problem.
If you have plumbing experience or are a licensed plumber, you can join us as a Wastewater Service Technician. We will:
- Provide 6 months of on-the-job training
- Support you through obtaining your QLD wastewater service licence
- Help you build a long-term career in a specialised, in-demand trade
