About the role

Northern Civil Services is seeking motivated and reliable Leading Hands, Labourers, Pipelayers and experienced Excavator Operators to join our growing team. We deliver a range of civil construction projects across the Townsville region and we are looking for people who take pride in quality workmanship, safety and being part of a strong team.

What you'll be doing

- Perform general Leading Hand, Pipelaying & labouring duties to support construction activities
- Follow all site safety protocols and procedures
- Work collaboratively with the broader construction team
- Maintain detailed records and documentation as required
- Operate and maintain excavators and other heavy machinery in a safe and productive manner ( where applicable)

What we're looking for

- Minimum 2 years' experience as an Excavator Operator or in a similar construction role
- Proficient in the operation of excavators and other plant equipment
- Strong safety focus with a commitment to high standards of work health and safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

About You

To be successful in this role,



you will have:

- A current Australian Driver Licence
- Construction White Card
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a robust work ethic.
- Demonstrated experience operating excavators and other civil plant (where applicable).
