Permanent Full-Time | Active NV2 Clearance Required
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Cyber Specialist to join a Defence capability program supporting complex, high-security ICT environments.
Working as part of a specialist team, you'll provide expert cyber security advice, lead security assurance and accreditation activities, and work closely with Defence, engineering, and project stakeholders to ensure critical systems meet stringent security and governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide cyber security and ICT security SME advice across complex Defence systems.
- Support security assurance, certification, accreditation, and authorisation activities.
- Develop Assessment & Authorisation (A&A;) artefacts and security documentation.
- Conduct cyber readiness and security verification activities.
- Interpret and apply Defence security policy, governance, and risk frameworks.
- Collaborate with technical teams and senior stakeholders to deliver secure capability outcomes.
About You
- Proven Defence cyber security experience is essential.
- Strong experience in cyber security, ICT security, or system security within highly secure, regulated environments.
- Experience delivering security assurance, certification, accreditation, or ICT governance activities.
- Strong understanding of Defence security frameworks, RMF, or similar assurance methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and technical documentation skills.
- Australian Citizenship and an active NV2 Security Clearance are essential.
