About the role

As a Warehouse Operator/Store Keeper, you will play a critical role in supporting the efficient operation of Canon Medical's National Warehouse. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the receipt, storage, inventory management and dispatch of medical equipment, spare parts and finished goods, ensuring products are handled, stored and distributed safely and accurately. You will work closely with Service, Logistics and Branch teams across Australia and Current Zealand to support customer requirements and deliver exceptional service.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety and quality, and a customer-focused mindset. To support operational requirements, the role operates on a roster with staggered start and finish times from 8.00am to 6.00pm and includes participation in an after-hours call-back to support urgent spare parts requests relating to critical customer equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive, inspect and process inbound deliveries, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and shipping documentation.




- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders and service parts in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts and cycle counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet handling equipment, in accordance with safety requirements.
- Ensure all warehouse areas are clean, organised and compliant with workplace health and safety standards.
- Assist with inventory control, stock replenishment and returns processing.
- Coordinate with internal departments and freight providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Report damaged, missing or non-conforming stock and assist with investigations as required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and service delivery.
- Follow all company policies, procedures and quality management requirements.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
- Valid high reach and counterbalance Forklift Licence.
- Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, receiving, dispatch and stock management processes.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
