Administration Officer Management Systems
Are you an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working with systems, data and people? Join Toowoomba RegionalCouncil's Water Operations team and play a key role in supporting the Quality and Environmental Management Systems that help deliver safe, reliable water and wastewater services to our community.
As the Administration Officer Management Systems , you'll provide administrative and systems support to the Management Systems team, while also supporting operations at the Wetalla Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) and Trade Waste.
This is a full-time contract position until 30November 2027, offering an exciting prospect to contribute to essential community services while developing your experience in quality, environmental and management systems.
What You'll Do
In this diverse and hands-on role, you will:
- Provide high-level administrative support, including record keeping, data entry and document management.
- Support the maintenance and continual improvement of Water and Waste Services quality and environmental management systems.
- Assist with customer enquiries, water supply agreements and billing activities.
- Coordinate tour bookings and support the preparation of water education materials.
- Maintain records and documentation associated with Drinking Water Management Plans and risk assessment processes.
- Assist with the preparation and collation of data and information for reporting.
- Liaise with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure quality documentation remains accurate, current and compliant.
- Deliver qualified customer service while managing confidential and sensitive information.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and able to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.
You will bring:
- Certificate III in Business (or equivalent combination of skills, experience and qualifications).
- Experience providing administrative support requiring initiative, discretion and sound judgement.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written, verbal and customer service skills.
- A high level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- A current Class C Driver Licence.
Desirable:
- Internal Auditor qualification or experience.
About the Team
Water Operations is part of Council's Water and Waste Services Group , delivering essential water and wastewater services across the region. Our team includes professionals from engineering, operations, compliance and administration who are committed to quality outcomes, collaboration, professionalism and continuous improvement.
Based at the Wetalla Water Reclamation Facility , you will be part of a supportive team helping ensure our services meet customer expectations and legislative requirements.
