We are looking for a Manufacturing Equipment Technician to join our Industrial Engineering team. This role is responsible for safely assembling, testing and commissioning production equipment and delivering timely, effective maintenance and calibration support.

Key responsibilities

- Repair production rigs
- Ensure equipment is safe to use
- Build and commission production rigs

Essentials skills & experience

- Good spread of practical ‘hands on’ skills
- An open and enquiring attitude to mechanical and electrical issues and working with engineers to resolve
- Working with optical test equipment
- Working with Optical Fibre, connectors and splicing
