Role: Data Analyst/Data Scientist

Canberra, ACT

11 months initial contract, possible extensions

with Baseline Clearance minimum

Responsibilities

- Deliver statistical analysis and data-driven insights to inform decision-making
- Build, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations
- Work across data architecture/metadata; support data modelling and data integration
- Maintain and enhance data products (pipelines/models/automations/dashboards) for continuity and performance
- Implement/support data governance and quality assurance processes
- Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver outcomes

Required Skills/experience

- Strong hands-on capability in Power BI, SQL, and Qlik




- Experience with large/complex datasets, data structures and integration approaches
- Robust communication skills (able to explain insights clearly)
- Able to manage multiple priorities with limited oversight
