Trade Qualified Butchers

Work where the craft still matters—Fresh & Save offers full production Butchery, with hands-on skills in slicing, boning, mincing and packing of all proteins right in store.

Full Time - 38 Hours (Includes weekend day)

GRIA - Level 4

Experienced Trade - Above award rate

A successful candidate will demonstrate the following key attributes;

- Experience in production butchery.

- Appropriate trade qualifications.

- Are hands on & lead by example.

- Experience in processing of all proteins – including body meat, marinating & crumbing, value add product.

- Happy to contribute to all facets of the department – includes packing, case merchandising, cleaning etc.

- Experience in supporting & training butchery apprentices.

- Understand principles of shrink minimisation

- Keen eye for merchandising & product quality.

- Understands the importance of following Food Safety & WHO&S; programs.

- Works well autonomously & as part of a team.
