About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and personable Bowls Coordinator to manage the day-to-day running of our bowls program. You'll be the key point of contact for our bowling members, responsible for competitions, rosters, and growing participation, while working closely with management and the greenkeeping team to keep our greens and events running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate pennant and social bowls competitions, including draws, grading, and results
- Liaise with Bowls NSW and other clubs regarding fixtures, gradings, and representative bowls
- Manage rink and green allocation across competitions, social play, and bookings
- Recruit, induct, and retain bowling members; run come-and-try and new bowler sessions
- Organise bowls-specific events (tournaments, open days, presentation nights)
- Work with the greenkeeper on green condition, maintenance schedules, and equipment needs
- Coordinate and support volunteer selectors, umpires, and bowls committee members
- Handle member enquiries and resolve issues related to bowls activities
- Report participation, competition results, and member feedback to management
About You
- Experience in or strong knowledge of lawn bowls (playing and/or administrative experience highly regarded)
- Prior coordination, hospitality, or club administration experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable dealing with members of all ages
- Well organised, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Available to work some weekends and evenings for events and competitions
- Willingness to help out with other club duties when needed
What We Offer
- $75,000 - $80,000/year salary (excluding super)
