NDIS Support Worker

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support tailored to each participant's individual goals and needs. Your responsibilities may include:

- Personal care and daily living assistance.
- Community access and social participation.
- Transport to appointments and activities.
- Medication assistance (where appropriately trained).
- Domestic assistance and meal preparation.
- Implementing Behaviour Support Plans (where applicable).
- Maintaining accurate progress notes, incident reports, and other required documentation.
- Promoting participants' independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion.

Essential Requirements





- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services , or an equivalent qualification (Certificate IV or higher is highly regarded).
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Disability Support Worker or in a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience delivering person-centred supports under the NDIS.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, respectful, and qualified approach.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check .
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) .
- Current National Police Check .
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificates.
- Valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable, fully insured vehicle.
- Valid ABN.
- Ability to use mobile devices to complete electronic shift notes and documentation.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, sleepovers, active nights, and public holidays when required.
- A strong understanding of the NDIS Code of Conduct, participant rights, privacy, and professional boundaries.

- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Intellectual disabilities
- High physical support needs
- Manual handling
- Complex behaviours and Behaviour Support Plans
- Epilepsy, PEG feeding, hoisting, or medication administration (where qualified)
