Claims Advisor - Insurance Broking Full Time or Part Time

Rensure Insurance & Risk is seeking a Claims Advisor to join our growing team in Merewether, NSW . This is a full-time or part-time position offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle. As a Claims Advisor, you will be at the forefront of our customer service delivery, managing insurance claims with professionalism and empathy whilst ensuring our clients receive the support they need during challenging times. This role is integral to maintaining our reputation for exceptional service and plays a vital part in protecting our clients' interests throughout the claims process.

What you'll be doing

- Managing a portfolio of insurance claims from initial notification through to resolution, ensuring accuracy and timeliness at every stage
- Liaising with clients, insurers, loss adjusters and third parties to gather necessary information and facilitate claim assessments
- Preparing detailed claim documentation and supporting materials for submission to insurance providers
- Providing expert guidance to clients regarding their claims, coverage entitlements and the claims process
- Monitoring claim progress, tracking timelines and proactively communicating updates to all stakeholders
- Identifying and escalating complex or contentious claims to senior management appropriately
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company procedures
- Contributing to continuous improvement of claims processes and systems
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and external claims partners

What we're looking for

- Previous experience working in an insurance claims environment, ideally within insurance broking or claims management
- Strong understanding of insurance policy types, coverage and exclusions relevant to claims assessment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders




- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organisational and time management capabilities, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A customer-focused mindset with genuine empathy and patience when dealing with clients in difficult situations
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work through issues methodically and professionally
- Relevant qualifications such as the Certificate in Insurance Claims Management or equivalent would be advantageous
- A commitment to professional development and staying current with industry practices
