About the opportunity :

Steel Line Garage Doors is seeking an experienced Technical Support officer based at our Brisbane office.

About your role:

The scope of the duties and responsibilities of the Technical Support Officer include but are not limited to the following:

- Handle inquiries to meet service level requirements by providing technical support to customers, employees and managers in all branches nationally




- Interpret and relay technical instructions
- Create a database to maintain and refer to
- Have a good phone manner, being courteous and polite
- Provide updates and training on new products as they are launched
- Monitor quality control
- Assist with product development and provide information on new technology

Who are we looking for?

To be Considered for this Role you must have:

- Requires solid technical/product knowledge of the garage door industry including motors, remotes and accessories.
- Problem solving skills and setting of priorities
- Effective communication, both verbal and written
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Excel and Word
- They must work in a team and be confident
- They must be sensitive to the customers’ needs and requirements
