We’re partnering with a global design-led practice located in the heart of Brisbane's CBD to help grow their studio with an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Interior Designer ! This studio has a highly collaborative team delivering premium, design-driven projects for major clients in the commercial fit out space.
The Role
This is an opportunity for a Mid–Level Interior Designer to take part in projects from concept through to documentation, getting exposure to client meetings, site visits and the internal delivery team. You’ll play a key role in helping shape workplace environments, balancing creativity with technical delivery, and ensuring projects are well-coordinated and buildable.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend client meetings, interpreting briefs into design solutions
- Take part in prepare initial space planning and floorplans
- Develop look & feel concepts, including finishes, materials, and mood boards
- Produce and coordinate a full set of design documentation for construction
- Collaborate with internal project and delivery teams
- Manage multiple projects across commercial fitout sectors with team
- Contribute across all project phases from concept to completion
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in interior design (commercial / workplace / fitout preferred but not required)
- Proficiency inRevit andEnscape (essential)
- Strong space planning and technical documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset with a keen eye for design excellence
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
