ProWay Livestock Equipment is Australia's leading manufacturer of livestock handling equipment. As we continue to grow and improve our operations, we are seeking an experienced Systems & Business Improvement Manager to lead business systems, compliance, process improvement, and organisational development initiatives across the company.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will play a key part in improving efficiency, supporting operational excellence, strengthening compliance frameworks, and ensuring our systems and processes support continued business growth.

About the Role

The Systems & Business Improvement Manager is responsible for the overall management and continuous improvement of company systems, compliance programs, business processes, and organisational procedures, ensuring they remain efficient, effective, compliant, and fit for purpose.

You will work closely with managers across Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, People & Culture, and Safety to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, develop systems capability, and deliver practical business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ProWay's ISO management systems.
- Manage and coordinate business compliance requirements, including quality, WHS, policies, procedures, and audit activities.
- Develop, maintain, and improve business procedures, workflows, and system documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all departments to improve efficiency, productivity, and business performance.
- Support managers with reporting, data analysis, process reviews, and business improvement projects.
- Identify and implement practical technology and business system solutions that add value to the organisation.
- Manage system upgrades, integrations, and improvement projects.




- Provide support across People & Culture functions, including policy development, workforce compliance, onboarding processes, and general HR administration.
- Work with external auditors, consultants, software providers, and certification bodies as required.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Experience managing business systems, compliance programs, continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of business processes within manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments.
- Experience with ISO systems, audits, or compliance management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Experience developing procedures, workflows, and business documentation.
- High level of computer literacy, reporting, and data management skills.
- Ability to influence and achieve outcomes across multiple departments.

Desirable

- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain environments.
- ERP implementation, optimisation, or training experience.
- Exposure to Human Resources, workforce compliance, or People & Culture functions.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power BI, or similar business platforms.
- Qualifications in Business, Operations, Information Technology, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field.
