About the Role:

We are seeking a Leading Hand at our Yandina Wet Production Plant who will lead by example, drive performance, and inspire their team. You will motivate and develop staff, initiate process improvements, and instill a strong 5S culture, ensuring our premium ready-to-use renders, textures, and protective coatings are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Work Monday–Thursday, 5:00am–3:00pm, giving you a 3-day weekend every week.

Our Wet Plant produces durable, decorative coatings for residential and commercial projects across Australia and New Zealand. It’s a dynamic, team-focused environment perfect for a leader who thrives on coaching, inspiring, and seeing measurable improvements in production and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, organise and lead daily production tasks to meet shift targets and schedules




- Supervise & manage the shift team, ensuring staff are motivated, coached & working safely
- Drive process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives across the team
- Champion 5S, workplace safety, and quality standards
- Ensure products meet quality testing and documentation requirements
- Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to keep production running smoothly
- Maximise production efficiency and minimise changeovers
- Support shift production schedules using Lean manufacturing principles

What We are Looking For:

- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Manufacturing or production experience
- Mechanical, pneumatic, or process troubleshooting ability
- Certificate III in a relevant field (desirable)
- Experience with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement
- Ability to create and review Safe Operating Procedures
- Forklift licence is desirable
- Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills
- Safety-focused mindset
- Physically fit (able to lift up to 25kg)
