About the role

Ace Mechanical Solutions are currently looking for fitter/supervisors with experience on hydraulic excavator and have supervisory experience on the lifestyle roster within our shutdown teams in the Hunter Valley region. This role is a hybrid role with both on the tools and supervisor elements.

In this role, you will be required to, but are not limited to:

- Follow mine site permits and processes
- Complete Hydraulic Excavator maintenance including breakdowns and diagnostics
- Complete full machine shutdowns and overhauls
- Source technical information and read hydraulic and electrical schematics




- Dedicated to maintaining safe work practices/commitment to safety

Qualifications

- Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic or similar
- Supervision Training and Experience
- Working at Heights Certificate (desirable)
- Order 45 Medical (desirable)
- High Risk Work Licence (desirable)

Skills and Experience

- Experience working on Hydraulic Excavators
- Ability to supervise a work crew including alternate trades
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment unsupervised and as part of a team
- Demonstrates a high attention to detail
- Show innovative and a high level of communication
