About Us
Upwards Living is a committed provider of health and support services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Aged Care. We offer person-centred support to individuals of all ages - focusing not only on physical needs, but also on uplifting the overall quality of life for people with disability and their loved ones.
What You'll Do
- Support participants to achieve their goals and increase independence.
- Facilitate daily activities, outings, and community participation.
- Assist with personal care as required.
- Promote social inclusion and meaningful engagement.
- Ensure participant safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Follow organisational policies, procedures, and NDIS Practice Standards.
- Reside no more than 15 minutes from Norwest
- Be willing to work 2-hour shifts 5 days per week as outlined:
Monday & Tuesday & Sunday 5pm - 7pm; Thursday & Saturday: 8am - 10am (Please do not apply if you are not able to work short shifts)
- Certificate III or above in Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services.
- NDIS Worker Screening
- Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Valid Working Rights to work in Australia
- ExcellentEnglishcommunication(verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Current valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
