MC Local Driver | Afternoon Shift | TOLL

Are you an experienced MC Driver based in Wollongong or the Illawarra region? Toll Recruit is currently seeking reliable and safety-focused drivers for our client in Port Kembla.

These are casual ongoing positions with genuine temp-to-permanent opportunities for drivers who demonstrate strong performance and commitment. Morning and afternoon shifts are available, allowing flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

About the Role

Working from Port Kembla, you'll be responsible for delivering a variety of steel products throughout the Illawarra, South Coast, Southern Highlands and Sydney regions. Drivers will be expected to maintain a robust focus on safety, compliance and customer service at all times.

Previous experience with steel transport or load restraint is highly regarded, however training can be provided to the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver steel products throughout the local Illawarra region and into Sydney
- Ensure loads are secured safely and correctly prior to transport
- Follow all site procedures, schedules and instructions
- Complete run sheets and transport documentation accurately
- Maintain compliance with fatigue management, road transport and workplace safety requirements
- Represent the business professionally when dealing with customers and site personnel

Skills & Experience

- Current MC Licence
- Minimum 2 years' professional truck driving experience
- Physically capable of handling load restraint requirements for steel products
- Strong communication and numeracy skills




- Steel transport and load restraint experience highly regarded but not essential
