About the role
We are looking for a creative and confident Content and Communications Producer to join our Marketing, Communications and Client Experience team. This role is responsible for creating engaging content across digital, print, internal and external channels, helping to share Sylvanvale’s mission, impact and stories with clients, families, staff, stakeholders and the broader community.
You will work closely with internal teams to uncover great stories, develop accessible and audience-focused communications, support media and public relations activity, and help ensure our content is consistent, engaging and aligned with Sylvanvale’s brand and values.
What you’ll be doing:
- Create and publish engaging content for publications, eDMs, websites, intranet, social media and other communication channels.
- Develop stories, articles, posts and campaign content that connect with a range of audiences.
- Work alongside digital and design specialists to develop compelling wording and narratives for video, graphics and other creative content.
- Repurpose and optimise content across channels to maximise reach, engagement and impact.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to source stories and develop effective communications.
- Produce media releases, media packs and other public relations materials, and support earned media opportunities.
- Prepare submissions and reports for grants and awards.
- Monitor content performance and use insights to recommend improvements.
- Ensure communications are accessible, on brand and aligned with Sylvanvale’s voice, values and strategic goals
About you
You are a natural storyteller with strong writing skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to tailor content for different audiences. You enjoy working collaboratively, building relationships and finding simple, engaging ways to communicate information that matters.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Proven experience creating and managing high-quality content across digital, print, email, web and social media channels.
- Robust writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- A good understanding of content strategy, audience engagement and user experience principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in public relations, including media releases, media packs and working with media to secure coverage
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work to deadlines.
- A current unrestricted NSW driver licence.
- Relevant qualifications in marketing, media, communications or a related field.
Desirable
- Experience working in disability services, community services, health, not-for-profit or a similar sector.
- Experience creating accessible communications for diverse audiences.
