About the Role

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure while ensuring maximum system performance, security, and availability. You will work closely with our development, cloud, cybersecurity, and AI teams to support business operations and client environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, maintain and upgrade Windows and Linux servers.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange Online and cloud services.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies.
- Configure and maintain virtualisation platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Monitor network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
- Maintain cloud environments including Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Ensure systems comply with cybersecurity best practices and company policies.
- Install software updates, security patches, and firmware upgrades.
- Maintain system documentation, asset registers, and operational procedures.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support to internal users and clients.
- Assist with infrastructure projects, migrations, and technology upgrades.
- Work collaboratively with software engineers and AI specialists to support deployment environments.

Skills and ExperienceEssential

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology,



Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a System Administrator or similar IT infrastructure role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy and Azure Active Directory.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and VPNs.
- Experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualisation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable

- Experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and endpoint protection.
- Experience with PowerShell or Bash scripting.
- Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, AWS, Azure or Linux certifications.
- Experience supporting AI infrastructure or cloud-based applications.
