Bus Driver Opportunities – Cairns Depot

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated drivers to join our Cairns Depot team, operating long-distance, regional, and school services across Far North Queensland.

Positions Available

Cairns to Karumba Service
– Long-distance route
– Overnight stays in Karumba required
– 12-hour shifts

Cairns to Cooktown Service
– Scenic coastal and regional driving
– Flexible opportunities available

Atherton to Cairns Service
– Regular regional route
– Daily return services
– Chance for consistent rostered hours

Cairns Special Education School Service – Drivers and Carers
– School transport operations -- Working with students requiring additional support
– Split shifts and school-term work available
– Patient, caring,



and safety-focused drivers encouraged

About the Role

You will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and freight while delivering a high standard of customer service across our regional and school transport network.

Requirements

- Current QLD Driver’s Authority, or willingness to obtain
- Appropriate licence (MR/HR preferred)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage long-distance routes
- Commitment to safety and reliability
- Ability to work respectfully with school students and passengers from diverse backgrounds
