Physiotherapist (Experienced) | Excellent Team, Motivated Patients, Genuine Support | Private Practice | Maitland / Thornton
Join The PhysioStudio: a respected private practice where skilled clinicians can do exceptional work with a genuine team around them.
At The PhysioStudio, we’re looking for an experienced physiotherapist to join our team in the Maitland region. This role would suit someone who values quality care, enjoys working alongside capable and supportive colleagues, and wants to be part of a collaborative clinic rather than working in isolation.
Our ideal candidate is confident managing a caseload with the support of colleagues, communicates well, contributes positively to the team, and wants to continue developing in a strong clinical environment.
About the role
This is a private practice physiotherapy role with a caseload made up predominantly of private patients, along with some workers compensation and very little NDIS work.
We provide genuine one-to-one care and are looking for someone with solid exercise-based rehabilitation skills, supported by sound hands-on and manual therapy skills.
The role is ideally full-time, although part-time may be considered for the right person seeking a meaningful and committed position within the team.
What you can expect
- Predominantly private, motivated patients
- High-quality one-to-one physiotherapy
- A caseload that can be shaped around your strengths and interests
- No late nights
- Full administration and reception support
- Modern facilities, including private treatment rooms and dedicated gym space
- Weekly in-services and mentoring
- A collaborative team where clinicians genuinely support one another
- A strong clinic reputation and established patient base
- Supportive leadership, high clinical standards, and a genuine commitment to learning and professional development
Who this role would suit
We expect this role will particularly appeal to a physiotherapist with around four to six years’ experience. However, we are also open to someone with two to four years’ experience who is already confident managing patients and is ready to continue developing with strong support.
You are likely someone who:
- Enjoys private practice and working with motivated patients
- Wants to work alongside skilled and committed clinicians
- Values learning, mentoring, and professional growth
- Wants the time and support to deliver quality care rather than rush through appointments
- Is reliable, honest, and professional
- Treats colleagues, junior staff, and administration staff with respect
- Is looking for a longer-term opportunity rather than a short-term stop
What matters to us
Team fit matters enormously to us.
We want someone who is clinically capable, but also honest, respectful, team-oriented, and genuinely interested in contributing to a positive and skilled workplace.
What makes The PhysioStudio different
We have built a strong reputation by focusing on excellent patient care, capable people, and a genuinely supportive work environment. We are proud to be held in the highest regard by local community of doctors, referrers and sporting organisations.
Our clinicians work closely together, have meaningful opportunities for mentoring and learning, and are supported to provide the standard of care our patients value.
This is a workplace where you can continue developing as a clinician, enjoy coming to work, and be surrounded by like-minded peers who care about their patients, their profession, and doing the job properly.
Salary and conditions
We offer an attractive salary package based on experience, capability, and the value you bring to the team.
A competitive to top-tier package is available for the right clinician. For the right person, this is a genuinely strong opportunity offering excellent working conditions, professional support, and long-term potential.
